Hello and welcome! 💕

I have a couple of friends with sons and daughters that have got engaged and are planning their weddings, so exciting! 👰💒 This exciting news inspired my blog this month to create a Wedding Arch project. This could be used on wedding tables to display place settings, table numbers or menus or just a cute photo of the happy couple 💗

Die-cut 3no. Cut, Mat, Create 1A in white cardstock. I used pink paper from Wild Rose Collection and die-cut another in the patterned paper, adhere this over one of the white rectangles and die-cut the slim die from the same set to cut an aperture. Adhere the pink rectangle to a plain white and stamp through the aperture ‘Congratulations’ Celebrate Love Sentiments in Vibrant Fuchsia.

Cut 2 long strips in white cardstock approx 13 x 1 1/2″. One strip is to be scored 1/2″ from each end to create tabs. Lay the Classic Companion die within the white cardstock and die-cut into the strips, the outer arch strip has the tabs and the inner strip will need to be trimmed down TIP: do not trim until assembled so you know how much to trim off. Partial die-cut will be required for the outer strip so not to cut through the tab (overhang the die from the plates so no pressure can cut through (as below)). Also cut 2no. strips the same size in pink pattern paper and adhere together so pink is on both sides.

TIP: pull the strips through your fingers or use a cylindrical item to create the arch strip prior to adhering this helps to form the shape. Add dries clear to the white outer strip and adhere to the pink, shaping as you go, remember to only add the strip between the tabs. Then repeat for the inner strip.

Add dries clear to the tabs and stick under the the pink sentiment, then adhere the other white rectangle over the tabs, sandwiching them between the rectangles will ensure a good strong fix.

Stamp out Stems and Blooms in black in onto white cardstock, colour and die-cut. Stamp out Holly hock Petals and Leaves in Vibrant Fuchsia, colour and die-cut. Shape with ball tool, pierce the centres of the flowers and adhere with hot glue bead stamens, trim off excess wire when glue has set. Use hot glue to decorate the arch. Finish with dries clear and glitter.

I hope you have found my blog helpful and inspiring today and I look forward to seeing your makes on the Heartfelt Creations Official Facebook page.
