158. Butterfly Wings Frame

The Large Floral Butterfly can be used as a shaped card, the main focal image, in part or part of the main focal point, it’s so versatile, this collection is a must have, I guarantee you will love it! 😍

Cut a mat and layer of Kraft and Floral Butterfly Paper Collection edged in Deep Purple and adhere to the front of the card blank.  Cut to fit inside Floral Butterfly Paper Collection edged in Deep Purple and adhere. Die-cut in kraft Royal Elegance frame and use Oval Basics to create a wider rim. Use Oval Basics again to create a photo frame insert in Luxe Gold Cardstock and adhere behind the kraft frame. Stamp in Deep Purple onto white cardstock ‘just a note to CHEER you’ and adhere behind the frame aperture. Die-cut in purple from Floral Butterfly Paper Collection the decorative Large Floral Butterfly and adhere the body of the butterfly in position with dries clear.

Stamp in Deep Purple onto Flower Shaping Paper Wild Asters and in Leaf Green the Wild Aster leaves and Leafy Accents. Colour the centres of the flowers with Vivid Chartreuse using the Stack and Store Daubers and the petals in Sky Blue, die-cut and edge in Deep Purple.  Colour the leaves with Vivid Chartreuse and die-cut, edge with Fern Green and tips in Sepia. Spritz and run Leafy Accents through the die-cutting machine in the 3D Leafy Accents Mold and shape the Wild Aster Leaves with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tool Kit. Spritz and shape the Wild Asters with the Groove Golf Tool set and adhere the petals together with hot glue. Cup the centres with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tools add dries clear and prills and leave to dry.

Stamp in Sky Blue and Deep Purple ‘Thinking of you today’ on white cardstock, die-cut Rectangle Basics and edge in Deep Purple. Mat onto purple Floral Butterfly Paper Collection and adhere to the inside of the card.

With hot glue adhere the Wild Asters to the top and bottom of the frame. Use hot glue to adhere the leave under the frame and adhere the frame over on dots. Use sisal under the wings and secure with hot glue to help lift the Floral Butterfly wings.

Finish with a little cheese-cloth/voile and pearls.
